My sweet 16! Late post

Haven't really blogged in like forever since i have my own diary. But well, I'm 16 as of 10 June 2014, Had an awesome birthday with my awesome crush being the first to wish me happy birthday and a dorky bestfriend that fell asleep while waiting for midnight.Started the day with a cookies and cream icecream cake then spent the day at the Singapore Zoo, River Safari and Night Safari. Ah, how can one not like to be close to animals, thought it really does break my heart to see them in enclosures no matter how spacious and how authentic the enclosure is to their wild habitats. The amazon boat ride @ river safari was a MAJOR disappointment, saw no mane wolves at all ): All hiding due to the extreme scorching weather. Then, -music of doom- the food. OHMYGOD, ULTIMATE WASTE OF MONEY. WORST FOOD EVER. The hot and sour soup was just basically vinegar in molten state. It was not even a single bit spicy like it was supposed to be. Maybe for the tourists, I don't know. Definitely not what the locals would eat. Ratings for that : 0/10. Don't be fooled by the picture.
Then to the zoo, spent so much time at River Safari that we only had like 4 hours left at the zoo, went to see the baboons, went to the fragile forest, the Australian outback, etc etc, typical zoo stuff, and caught an animal show. Despite the numerous visits to the zoo, the splash safari show never cease to amaze me.
Ohmygod, just look @ my english structure. No wonder I almost failed my english exam. Really needa buck up.
Okay, then night came upon us. NIGHT SAFARIIIIIIIII! Took picture with an owl! SOOO CUTE. Wanted to enter the #NS20 competition to be a night safari zookeeper for a night, but missed the deadline, argh whatever. Had pasta while watching a fire-dancing performance. Literally, at that moment, I felt SO BLESSED. If only my entire family was there, it would be a thousand times perfect. Unfortunately, halfway during the animal show, Creatures of the Night, it started to rain. Sigh, had to be cancelled. Totally missed the part where they (spoiler alert) scare the tourists with a snake on the "loose". At least I saw what I came to night safari for! The grey wolf and the majestic white lions!
Still a great day though. Loved it so much! Was initially lazy to type out this post, but since Grace blogged about it, I felt compelled to as well. LOL, click on her name to visit her blog!
